Prospective PhD students

What I am open to supervising. Highly ambitious projects in international and european political economy; global health governance; global social protection; and the political economy of the green transition. I am very open in terms of methodological approaches (my work relies on both quantitative and qualitative methods), provided they are appropriate to answer the research questions being investigated.

How to get in touch. As I am the director of the Bocconi PhD in Social and Political Sciences, I sit on the admissions committee and therefore cannot offer detailed advice or guidance on your research ideas. So, as long as your interests align with mine, you can assume that I am in principle available to supervise. Confirmation by a supervisor that they are interested in working with you is not necessary at the application stage. Bocconi has many leading academics who are available to supervise PhD students, so you should take a close look at whose work might be the best fit with your research interests. Any questions about the Bocconi SPS PhD program should be directed to phd.sps@unibocconi.it.
